  • How to get the picture into the computer. What the tools are and what to do with them. Retouching portraits, (lines, blemishes, glasses glare).


• Photoshop CS, CS2, & CS3 III & IV - Sept. 17 & 24 from 6:30 - 8:30PM
  • Layers, Layer Mask, Actions, Channels, Paths.


• Photoshop Elements I & II - October 20 & 27 from 6:30 - 8:30PM
  • The Basics, how to get the picture into the computer what the tools are and when to use them. Organizing your files and folders.

Please note: May bring own computer with Photoshop 7, Elements or CS software installed or you could just take notes.

BASIC:

• Photography II for Digital & Film - Oct. 1, 8 & 15 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM
  • Depth of Field, Focal Length, Aperture and Shutter Speeds.

• Digital Camera 101 - Sept. 11, 18 & 25 from 9:30 - 11:30 AM or
  Sept. 15, 22 & 29 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM
  • Initial Set up, Resolution and ISO, White Balance, Histogram, Basic Camera Handling.

INTERMEDIATE:

• Exposure - To Be Determined

• Composition - Sept. 30, Oct. 7 & 14 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM
  • How to create a photograph instead of a snapshot. Rule of thirds.

• Light - To Be Determined

• Informal Portraits - People and Pets - Sept. 12, 19 & 26 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM
  • Which lens, ISO setting and camera mode. For anyone that likes the natural facial expressions.

ADVANCED:

• Studio Lighting & Flash for Digital and Film - To Be Determined

• Portraits and Posing - To Be Determined
